Due to the volume of applications, other
inquiries will not be answered. We are processing
large volumes of applications and need to focus our attention on
moving to the next step of our hiring process. If we contact you for
further interview, you will have ample opportunity to ask questions
and we can discuss all the possibilities of working together.
Our FAQ below will provide you with answers to many of your
commonly asked questions:
- How do I know my application form has been processed? When
you click the submit button, you should reach a page that says, "Thank
You for Your Application."
If you see that page, your application was successful. If you receive
any error messages, and only if you receive
an error, please open a support ticket outlining the details
of the error.
- What should I do if I personally
made error on my application (as opposed to a technical problem with
the form)?
Simply resubmit
with the correct and complete information. However, remember that
attention to detail is a must, so do your best to get it right the
first time.
- What does "some experience" on the
application forms mean? In most cases, it's not necessary that you
have done this work for clients, but that you have some experience in
the areas you are applying for. If you have written content for your
own website, that is acceptable experience for a writer. If you
proofread your child's college essays on a regular basis, we're
interested in you as a proofreader. Our main concern is that you are
able to produce quality work and you will be provided with exercises
to prove your abilities in the next stage of the hiring process.
- How much will you be paying contractors? Payment will be determined by
quality of work and experience. You are also requested to include your
expected payment rate in your application.
- How will contractors be paid?
Payments will be made monthly via PayPal. You must have a PayPal.com
account to work as a contractor with us.
- If I am from a non-English speaking
country, but have an excellent command of the English language, may I
still apply? Yes you can, but you must be able to receive payments
via PayPal.
- Can I apply for more than one position? Yes, if you have the
qualifications required, you may apply for more than one position.
- When will you be contacting applicants? We are already
contacting potential contractors and will continue to contact people
over the next few weeks and months. We will also keep your application
on file for a minimum of 6 months, so we may contact you at a later
date.
- Will I hear back if my application is not accepted? Sorry, due to the
volume of submissions, we won't be able to contact everyone.
- Can I reapply if I don't hear back from you? Yes, but please wait a
minimum of 6 months to resubmit a new application. We keep all
applications on file for a minimum of 6 months.
